Transparency & Accountability:
My campaign is rooted in listening first- placing the voices, concerns, and lived experiences of Jefferson County residents at the center of county decision-making.
Our current Commission has greatly reduced public comment, mocked citizens who want to voice their opinions, and ceded a great deal of decision making to unelected bureaucrats.
County Services:
I am committed to ensuring county services catch up to cope with recent growth.
Our emergency services providers (both volunteer and paid) must receive adequate funding and equipment.
Jefferson County needs hi-speed internet for our residents, especially our students and those working remotely.
Protection of Jefferson County:
I am a firm NO on data centers and other industries that negatively impact our natural resources, including water, air, and farmland.
We must protect farmland and open space, two natural resources that make Jefferson County attractive to tourists and existing residents.
Residential growth must be planned, considerate of existing residents, and pay for its impact to existing services like schools, police, and EMS.
